What peptide testing covers
Peptide testing examines a submitted research sample to describe what it contains. Novexa performs compound identity and purity analysis, and also endotoxin, bacteriostatic agent and heavy metal assessments on submitted samples.
Endotoxin testing
Endotoxins are residues associated with Gram-negative bacteria that can remain in a sample after the organisms are gone. Testing estimates the endotoxin level present in the submitted sample.
Bacteriostatic testing
Bacteriostatic agents are added to some formulations to suppress microbial growth. Testing assesses the agent present and its level in the sample; it does not establish that a container is sterile.
Heavy metal testing
Heavy metals are elemental impurities that can reach a sample through raw materials, reagents or equipment. Testing reports the metals assessed and the levels measured in that sample.
Methods and reporting
Methods, reporting limits and applicable criteria are confirmed with Novexa for each sample and intended study before testing begins. Conclusions refer only to the sample received.
Verify a report
Published Novexa reports carry a certificate number and QR code that can be checked on the Verify certificate page of this website.
Start a testing inquiry
Email info@novexatestinglabs.com with the material name, proposed analysis and number of samples, then follow the sample submission protocol. An inquiry is not an order acceptance.
